When you come to Christ it all sound easy and cozy. Especially, most pastors
who entice you with sweet words. They tell you that when you receive Christ all
problems are gone and you get instant promotion and prosperous. Prophesies are
made and you feel all puffed up seeing yourself possessing whatever you are
believing GOD for. But the main issue is between prophesy and a breakthrough.
It is true that when you receive JESUS you receive all spiritual blessings
in heavenly realm. Really if you are a mere Christian things just happen. Quick miracles are for the new Christians and none Christians to entice them. GOD
is all knowing and knows exactly what he deposited in you. He will not test you beyond your capacity and like He said I will not leave you or forsake you, so the Holy Spirit is at hand to support you. Do not be afraid to tell GOD to help you go through it.
I once did a
programing course in visual basic and the deeper I went with the studies the
more I realized that the key to a good program is the design stage. If you
properly design a program before you start the actual programing then you have
a better chance of producing a good software program. When it comes to JESUS it
is written that Christ was crucified from the foundation of the earth. It is
also written that GOD works according to his will and purpose. Before anything
was made I mean before the trees and the mountains were made GOD had a plan of
what was to happen. Your date of birth was already fixed as it is written in (Job14:5) even the date of your death and how it will be has already been fixed. My
breakthrough and your breakthrough have already been written down exactly how
and when it is going to manifest.
God is not caught un aware when there is a shock in our circumstances even
though at times it seems that way due to the panic that comes due to the afflictions
and the pain. I have had tough times, my mind is all over the place I am
looking at my wife she is hurting, I am hurting. I can see she is fighting the
tears, I am trying to be the strong one but I am also fighting the tears. No
matter how low I get, I try not to show my wife, you see GOD told us to encourage
each other. At times though I really do not know what to say my heart is ripped
apart by the one that I love dearly that is JESUS. I never thought loving JESUS
would take such a toll on my life.
Then I look about and everyone is getting along just fine they are busy sleeping
when we are on our knees day and night. Friends and relatives are prospering
left, right and center but we remain the same oh it hurts it tare’s my heart to
the core. But I am in too deep I cannot let go now. I look back there is nothing
to go back to. I look ahead at the glory set ahead and I have to push on just
one more day then another. I get very discouraged GOD told me yet again it will
happen by such and such day. The day comes and goes and nothing changes oh
there has been a delay once again. Why LORD why.
A pastor comes and tells us she was praying for us and GOD told her that he
has answered all the prayers we made for friends and relatives and other
people. We can see the evidence friends and relatives and other people are
prospering in their businesses even those working promoted others changing to
better jobs. The irony is some of those beneficiaries of the prayers make fun
of us calling us all sorts they think they are prospering because they are
clever. Then we reflect on JESUS the very people he was dying for hanging him
on the cross, spiting at him and hurling all sorts of insults. We are not the first and like JESUS we say forgive them father they know not what they do. Then I ask the
pastor what about us what did GOD say she tells us GOD just said he will do
great things for you and we have to keep on waiting. And she went further to
tell us that God told her that we pray day and night and GOD will visit us. You
can Just imagine GOD himself saying everyone else but us.
Honestly we were disappointed to some extent but then we were encouraged
that at least some people are getting breakthroughs. Our prayers are getting to
GOD after all. GOD does not make mistakes its only a matter of time. You know it is like a cash machine
when you are on queue the first one gets to the machine takes out cash then goes,
then the next goes and takes out his. You know that the queue is moving and
soon it will be your turn. Just like the cash machine who ever cashes out takes
his or her money ours is still intact When it is our turn we will also cash out what GOD has
deposited for us. Like us if you have gone through tough times and you see
people prosper ahead of you worry not GOD is like a cash machine soon it will be
your turn to cash out. Do not worry yours is still intact.
No matter what happens GOD is still good and faithful and his love never fails. Even though he hurts you he has a good reason, after all our real character comes out when we are hurt. GOD wants to build your character so that when the breakthrough comes you don't get overwhelmed or destroyed.

Old Prophet
I have been waiting on GOD for certain things that I cant really disclose, well it is just because I tried to tell a certain man of GOD he laughed in my face. According to him GOD can not do such things, he has been walking with GOD long enough that he knows GOD can not do that. Big mistake and let me assure you my friends GOD can do anything and anything means anything. The thing I love about GOD is that he is not into formulas and routines he is into relationships; And there are a lot of things that he is about to do that were hidden even to the principalities and powers and all creatures. As it is written I will do wonders in heaven and on earth and especially during these full blood moons.
There is a man of GOD that I respect who told me that GOD only gives in seed form, meaning you always start small and grow. Well I told him that is his GOD as for my GOD, He can do anything. I remember the children of Israel on the day they left Egypt they had gold given by Egyptians by GODs favor, they also inherited houses they did not build, Joseph was promoted from prison to Prime Minister in a moment and I heard of a testimony of a guy who was promoted from garden boy to managing director in a day forgetting procedure. I also saw a testimony of this lady who had financial problems then GOD gave her an idea in a dream. The next day she took her drawing that she was given to this company, they immediately liked the idea then gave her a check as a deposit of 20 million dollars in an instant a multi millionaire. I do not claim to know GOD more than other people but I know enough to know that nothing is too difficult for GOD. He made the earth from nothing. Think about it he just spoke and it was there boom He did not sweat. I bet the fruits were ripe the very moment they were created to provide food and seed.
Before all this I had told this man of GOD that I did not want to work for anyone believing GOD to provide connections, finances and other requirements for my business. Then one day when me and my wife were worshiping, GOD told me he was very impressed with my faith because I refused to work believing that he would provide. That really encouraged me, I was blown away wow! the creator of the universe impressed with me. Then as we went along on our journey it become clear that GOD did not want me to work. Mind you these instructions were given to me not to my pastor. Remember the old prophet issue in the bible 1 kings 13. When GOD tells you something do it even if it does not make sense. And if GOD wants to change his mind he will tell you himself the same way he told you the first time.
Now a man of GOD tells me God starts small and told me that I was caught by my own words I needed prayer just because I said I did not want to work for anyone. The Holy Spirit then told me some people had came to this man of GOD and were talking about me. Saying I need to get a job So the man of GOD told me I have to start small because GOD always does that. He went on further to tell me to agree with him and say amen to it. So I told him I am not saying amen to that but if it is GODS will let Him do what he sees fit. I went on to tell him bluntly that GOD can do anything, and anything means anything. And I told him I will not say amen to what he is saying. I told him my GOD can start from bottom or top after all the bible says it makes no difference for GOD to save with many of a few. Really my take on it all is that with GOD it really does not matter what level you are. When GOD call you he does not ask you how much you have. He can sometimes ask you what you have in your hand and work with that or he can take away all you have and start from bottom. It is written he take the poor from rubbish pit to walk and dine with princes. Friends there is no limit to things that GOD can do.
Unknown to the man of GOD was the fact that the Holy Spirit told me there and then some one was there discussing about me with him which makes it very likely he was telling me his mind instead of GODS mind.There was another instance where because I haven't been working it became difficult for me to pay fees for my kids. Then one of our relatives was like" I am taking the kids to stay with me and I will only give them back the kids when He meaning me start working." Then the man of GOD told me he thought GOD was saying I should let my kids go to the relatives. But I told him point blank no the spirit with which they are asking me to give my kids is just to humiliate me. I told them we will trust GOD and please let us be if we perish we perish. If it has pleased GOD for my kids not to go to school then who I'm I to argue with GOD. After all the scripture says in all things give thanks to the LORD.
That very same night we had a visitation from the LORD and that was the day we were justified like Abraham and like Abraham GOD told us he had now established what he promised us and surely he was going to bless us to fulfill everything he promised. Unknown to me was the fact that GOD was testing us for obedience and I happened to pass. All credit goes to the Holy Spirit of-course he is the one that has always positioned us to receive. That night I felt such peace like I have never felt and the Holy Spirit started flashing scripture after scripture to me. If I had listened to the man of GOD I would have lost out on the blessing that was already mine. We were told by GOD to always remember that day.
In psalms 78 the children of Israel believed not GOD they did not think that he could provide meat for them. There were OK with GOD bringing out water from a rock and other miracles that they saw with their own eyes. But meat no way they thought they knew GOD, they were limiting GOD. Lets thank JESUS for we now have grace if most of us were in those times we could have be consumed by fire. Stop thinking that you know GOD fully we are all part of the body of Christ meaning some are toes some are fingers. GOD will also reveal to us according to the grace given to us. We human beings have one problem where we tend to get puffed up with a little knowledge here and there. then you get a vision or dreams and now you conclude that you now know how GOD works.
Often we Christians miss out on GOD and what he is doing in our life because we are given instructions then we go ask someone else for advice. Clearly you are looking for lies and like the old prophet they will tell you lies. In the bible most great victories were achieved after following a set of instructions take for instance 2 chr 20 Jehoshaphat was instructed to just take a stand and see the LORD give them victory. As they worshiped and march on to where they were to take a stand they found the whole enemy army had killed themselves.
GOD is not a man to lie or is he a son of man to change his mind, when he speaks it is as good as done and when he promises he fulfills. You see I am a man under divine instructions as such any advice or supposedly word from GOD it has to agree with what GOD is saying to me. Promotion comes from no one but GOD, He does not ask your pastor first if he has to bless you. Even Moses was told by GOD that I bless who I bless in other words yes Moses me and you tall face to face but it is none of your business who I bless.
So what is GOD saying to you and me he is not a man to then come and change his mind He is not a GOD of confusion but of order. The devil can use anyone even pastors. Be-careful with supposedly words from GOD check it out with GOD himself he will confirm or tell you it is not from him.

He Wants You To Add Nothing To IT
One day me and my wife were worshiping GOD we were stuck, no money, food run out, and rent was over due. At the beginning of that year a prophesy was made that GOD was gonna do new things in our life, but that we will have challenges. We were told to just worship GOD when challenges arise. So here we were stuck with no way out the only source of income our truck had broken down. We were that stuck the land lord was on our neck. So as we were worshiping the LORD spoke to us he told us so many wonderful things. Then he told us not to worry for he had done a wealth transfer and that we were to go to the bank the next day.
That month we were spending each day at church worshiping, so we were told to go to church as usual to worship and that The Holy Spirit was going to tell us what to do. Then mid way through the worship the Holy Spirit says now go to the bank and meet so and so. So we went and met the guy check out our bank account there is nothing. You can just Imagine the frustration and confusion then the Holy Spirit says go back and worship. We just went in church and continued worshiping.
It was only several months later that the LORD said to us he does not lie and it will happen but there is a delay to test our patience, perseverance and our obedience. Ah it started now to make sense trust me I was all messed up what is going on I knew it was GOD speaking but what is going on.It's impossible for GOD to lie
During this time we really did seek GOD more than ever and we have been more intimate with GOD since, as far as we can tell. During the same time the Holy Spirit told us our car would break down and it did. Some pastors heard that we said the LORD told us that the car would break down. They were like that is not GOD, saying GOD can not allow you to struggle. But it all comes down to how well you know your GOD. We did the usual complain and pray to GOD, why LORD why. You know the day the car broke down we were meant to go into town to drop off the kids to school then to church on a week day, we ended up riding a bus. Once we got to church worshiping the LORD said I wanted to see if you were going to come and worship me today after the break down.
Things of GOD really need the renewal of our mind. Yes GOD wants us to prosper and he does not willingly inflict. To those men of GOD they thought we got it wrong that GOD allowed our car to breakdown. But to me I knew what GOD said, though I did not understand it at the time. You see it is written in those days I will pour out my spirit on all fresh. Now all means all not just pastors. Meaning the holy spirit which gives ability to hear GOD will be given to all from the least to the greatest. Later on after I moved from that house the Holy Spirit explained to us that the car was taken away so that we could learn to trust GOD. And I can assure you looking back GOD made sure that almost ninety percent of the time he provided free transport to and from town and church. If I had doubted GOD and start listening to these pastors and their narrow view of GOD I could have missed GOD. I am not saying you should not listen to your pastors but test the spirits the bible says.
We were staying so far from town and most times we were on our knees worshiping GOD and the LORD it was a very big house with a huge wall fence. No one visited us as they complained that it was too far.To make it even more challenging the LORD spoke to me not to look for a job. It was the most difficult time of our life. I never knew this love for JESUS would hurt this much. Men I went through shame, reproach, humiliation I could barely get by and everything that could go wrong went wrong. Where are you GOD I would ask and the heavens were like shut. But you know in all these things I always remembered that GOD is mind bogglingly good and faithful ;and I also remembered that GOD gave us a sign that his work had begun. You know when you read the old testament you will see that usually GOD was asked to provide a sign re assuring people that he will do what he promised.
It made sense the sign was given without us asking for it, because GOD knew what we were going to go through. Not only did GOD give us the sign but he also told us how much wealth and how high he has lifted us up. All these gave us hope, friends I don't care how Holy you are, but without hope you can get nowhere. You can quote scripture, pray and worship but without hope you can lose the spiritual war. The devil is at work telling you all sorts of lies. But we were able to despise the shame when we remembered what GOD had promised and the sign he gave us.
I don't know about you but to me GOD is my father and during my walk I have come to know him as my father not just GOD. In the old testament GOD was GOD who was scary and feared, the only approach was through a priest. If you notice JESUS always called him, Father except on the cross where he felt abandoned then he called him my GOD my GOD why have you forsaken me. JESUS came for two things to redeem mankind and to tell mankind of the fatherhood of GOD.
When the devil tempted JESUS to worship him, JESUS answered by quoting scripture in M't:4:10: Then said Jesus to him, Get behind me, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve. He quoted a scripture from Deuteronomy 6:13 and 10:20 You shall fear the LORD your God. Notice JESUS took away the fear and put worship instead. And as it is written let us now approach the throne of GOD with boldness for JESUS payed the price as evidenced by the tearing down of the curtain of the temple. No one dared to enter the temple but the high priest M't:27:51: And, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and there was an earthquake, and split the the rocks;. now thanks to JESUS we can approach GODS throne of mercy anytime and boldly.
No matter how long it takes remain standing and pray without ceasing and be alert. GOD is always speaking. Continue doing good, GOD remembers you and in due season he will come through for you. Your greatest breakthrough is on its way like Joseph you too will forget your pain and glorify GOD. If the baker had remembered JOSEPH soon as he got out, he could have got out alright, but he would have been just an average person struggling to make ends meet. Instead it took two years and at the right time he got out and was promoted to the prime ministers position. Like Joseph the LORD is bringing you to a place where you will add nothing to your breakthrough. You will just start enjoying. Stop worrying and trust GODS timing.
